Shrewsbury dentures
If you need to get dentures, you will definitely benefit from seeing us at Quinsigamond Dental. At our office, patients can get attractive, well-fitting, and completely functional
Shrewsbury dentures. Here, at our office, you will also receive complete information about denture maintenance and care.
At our office, Dr. Jack Xu is our highly trained general dentist and Dr. Avi Shainhouse is our skilled periodontist and implant specialist. When patients receive Shrewsbury dentures at our office, they know that they will receive dentures that not only look great, but which are ultimately completely comfortable to wear. However, it is important to know that when you first leave our office with your dentures, they may feel a bit awkward in your mouth. This is because wearing dentures is a new experience, and your mouth is definitely going to feel different, at first; this feeling will soon go away and you will feel completely comfortable with your new dentures. Until you get used to eating with your new dentures, it is important that you only eat softer foods, and cut foods into small pieces when you are chewing them. You will also want to make sure that you chew evenly on both sides of your mouth. Your dentures will need to be removed for cleaning. When this occurs, you will want to stand over a sink, or table, over which you have placed a soft towel. This way if you inadvertently drop your dentures, they will fall on a soft surface. You will never want to allow your dentures to dry out, so when they are taken out of your mouth for any period of time, they should be placed in the soaking solution as recommended by our office. If any piece of your dentures breaks or bends, do not attempt to fix it yourself. Instead, contact our office so that you can bring the Shrewsbury dentures to us; our dentist may be able to fix them right here at our office.
